I can’t understand the data in Table 1.1 (pictured) in this book.: (1) Why 166~480℃, 480~249℃, 249~537℃? (2) Why is the distillation range of the 166~480°C fraction lighter than that of the 74~166°C fraction? They are all D86 data. Ask a teacher who understands for advice. :)
I have checked both the Chinese and English versions of this book, and the data is the same.

In addition, in the final boiling point (FBP) data of distillation, the high boiling point data should be converted from simulated distillation data by reduced pressure or chromatography. There are two columns of data that should be reversed. It may be that there is an order problem during the copy and paste process of the original data. Readers with professional knowledge background should be able to tell the difference.
Thanks. My first reaction was indeed that the book had it backwards. However, if such a problem that can be seen at a glance exists in both the original English version and the Chinese translation, it is really a bit inappropriate. So I want to put it out for everyone to see.
But regarding question (1), I really don’t know why it is arranged this way.
After typesetting, the proofs were not proofread carefully. The cost of hiring manual proofreaders abroad is very high, because proofreaders are often experienced professionals, and you cannot afford to hire someone for personal publishing. You can try contacting the author and offer him free proofreading. What do you think?
