3D CAD drawing issues

In recent 3D modeling, a problem has arisen: a cylinder that has been stretched, after being saved, becomes an entity whose length cannot be modified. Please refer to my attached images for details. This is the state right after it was drawn; by selecting one side of the solid triangle, its length can be adjusted, while the other side can be used to change the diameter. After some time, when selecting again, both ends will have square dots, and it will not be possible to modify the length or size. Has anyone encountered this problem? What exactly is the problem? There must be a problem with the software.
Check the version you have saved; you will need a version 2007 or later to continue editing it
I use CAD to create 3D models;P
To learn it right from the start, one should choose UG – it was developed by Siemens, and it has every function imaginable, in addition to being user-friendly for designers
If it’s a CAD software, then this entity must have been edited as a solid; you just don’t remember that it was involved in an editing command.
With CAD, once stretching is completed, the length indeed cannot be changed anymore. But the length can be increased or decreased again.
