In the design process of pressure vessels, in addition to the design of the vessel’s structure itself, it is often necessary to design pre-welded components such as platform ladder pads and pipe support pads. The number of these pre-welded components can range from a dozen or so to several hundred; whether it comes to calculations or drafting, this is a labor-intensive task, and carelessness can lead to collisions between these components and pipe ends or support rings. This software enables the parametric design of pre-welded components; designers only need to enter the dimensions and positioning of these components, after which the drafting can be carried out in CAD, thereby reducing the substantial amount of calculation and drawing work required by designers. 1. Enter parameters such as the cylinder body, pipe ends, support rings, and pre-welded components: On the corresponding page, click the add button; in the dialog box that appears, enter the quantity of each component, press the confirm button, and then enter the parameters for each component in the table. You can also insert a row above the selected row, or delete the selected row. Pre-welded components are positioned at the top elevation (commonly used for platforms), the center elevation (commonly used for pipe supports), or symmetrically with respect to the top elevation (commonly used for straight ladders). Components at the same elevation but at different angles can be entered in the same row, with the angles separated by “/”. 2. Open CAD, create a new document, and click the drawing button on the corresponding interface to draw the relevant components in CAD. The graphics are referenced to the origin; if no graphics are displayed on the interface, you can double-click the middle mouse button to reset the interface. 3. The entered data can be saved as a TXT file; when using it again, simply open the corresponding file. 4.
