This software has been in use for many years, and it has never been possible to draw pipe racks directly on 3D diagrams. I tried it today and it was possible to draw them, but there is no data available for material accounting; I’m not sure why. Could it be that there’s an issue with the way of drawing them? Are there any relevant video explanations? Another thing is the template for generating materials; it’s not the desired template. If changes are needed, how should one proceed?
Regarding how to draw pipe racks, the following steps can be followed: 1. First, select “Graphic Modeling” or “Modular Modeling” in the software, and then choose the “Pipes” or “Pipeline” tool; 2. On the drawing interface, select “Draw 2D Sketch” or “Draw 3D Solid” to start drawing the pipeline’s outline ; 3. After completing the drawing, select parameters such as the material, diameter, and length of the pipe in the Property Editor ; 4. Finally, save the drawing results and add them to the material library for future use. To modify a material template, you can follow these steps: 1. Go to the “Material Library” interface of the software and select the material template that needs to be modified ; 2. Click the “Edit” button to enter the template editing interface ; 3. In the template editing interface, various parameters of the material can be modified, such as density, elastic modulus, coefficient of thermal expansion, etc ; 4. After making the changes, save and exit the template editing interface to apply the modifications.
