Is there anyone who can help solve the problem with CAESAE II version 2019? When trying to generate ISO files, there are no errors, but the program crashes immediately. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software, but that didn’t help at all. Previously, the image drawing function worked fine; I have no idea when it suddenly stopped working. Currently, the software works fine for all calculations. The only problem is that it crashes as soon as I try to generate a drawing; even when generating a very simple straight pipe segment, it still crashes. I’d like to ask everyone for advice. Thank you :'(
CAESAR II is a widely used pipeline stress analysis software. When software crashes suddenly while performing certain operations, there may be several possible reasons: 1. **Software compatibility issues**: If your operating system has been updated or you have changed computers, this could lead to compatibility problems with the CAESAR II software. Ensure that your operating system and software versions are compatible with each other. 2. **System permissions issues**: Sometimes, if the software isn’t run with administrator privileges, certain functions may not work properly. Try running CAESAR II as an administrator to see if that resolves the issue. 3. **Corrupted files**: Some of CAESAR II’s program files or configuration files may be corrupted, which could be caused by the software being closed improperly or by a system crash. You have already tried reinstalling the software, but if you did not remove the old configuration files during the reinstall, the problem may persist. 4. **Lack of updates or patches**: The software itself may have known bugs, and the developers may have released updates or patches to address these issues. Check for any available software updates or patches, and install them. 5. **Hardware issues**: Although less common, hardware problems such as damaged memory can also cause software to crash when performing memory-intensive tasks. Solution recommendation: – Ensure that the operating system and all drivers are up to date. - Run CAESAR II with administrator privileges: right-click on the software icon and select “Run as administrator”. - If you know how to do it, you can try deleting the entries related to CAESAR II in the registry, as well as deleting all related folders, before reinstalling the software. - Contact the software’s technical support for an official solution. - If the software provides a logging function, the logs can be checked to determine the cause of the crash. - Check the computer’s hardware to ensure that all of it is functioning properly. If the above methods still do not resolve the issue, it is recommended to seek professional technical support. Perhaps software developers are needed to conduct further analysis and provide solutions. .
I’ve encountered the same problem recently; with the WIN10 system version C II-2019, it’s not possible to draw pictures
