I highly recommend an online [Engineering Calculation and Selection Workstation] developed by an independent developer to all my engineering colleagues. The website is completely free, ad-free, requires no installation, and runs entirely in the browser. It integrates nearly 20 advanced professional tools internally, covering comprehensive energy systems (CHP/LNG/gas turbines), steam and water pipeline design (wall thickness/flow rate/bevels/dampers), boiler auxiliary equipment (flue and air systems/SCR for nitrogen oxide reduction), as well as in-depth selection of safety valves and centrifugal pumps. Its underlying logic is strictly in line with standards such as GB, ASME, and API, enabling rapid generation of selection results and calculation reports, which greatly improves the efficiency of preliminary design. It is highly recommended that colleagues keep this resource for future use! 👉Access address: lycal.netlify.app
Thank the original poster for sharing such a powerful tool! As an engineer who often works on pipeline design, I’m really excited to see online calculation tools that incorporate GB/ASME standards. I just tried it out, and I’d like to share two points from my actual experience for everyone’s reference: the pump selection module is indeed very comprehensive, even taking into account NPSHa calculations. However, some of the default values may need to be adjusted manually depending on the operating conditions. It’s recommended to test it in incognito mode in a browser, as there’s a risk that free tools might introduce verification mechanisms in the future. For important projects, it’s advisable to verify the results by using separate calculations. I’ve saved it; I look forward to ongoing updates from the developers!
