For synthetic systems and alcohol-alkanation systems, is it necessary to operate a circulation pump? In both our synthesis system and the alcohol-alkane reaction system, the circulation pump was not turned on during pumping; nitrogen was directly introduced into the systems. Won’t this cause the gas to flow in the wrong direction? What are the disadvantages of going through the reverse process?
Remember, no equipment shall undergo a reverse process; those with catalysts may be blown into the pipes, and those with internal components might be stripped off, etc
Do not turn on the circulation pump, but you can open the inlet and outlet valves of the circulation pump, and close the tower outlet valve!
