At the group’s administrative meeting on the morning of October 7th, Xinjiang Tianyun shared its experiences in energy savings and efficiency management; these insights are now being made available here. Xinjiang Tianyun adheres to the principles of innovation and openness as well as sharing in terms of energy conservation and consumption reduction. It actively explores new approaches, boldly tries out new methods, and steadily implements new measures, thereby continuously improving its level of management in this area and seeing ongoing improvements in its economic indicators. Compared to the same period in 2020, electricity consumption decreased by 8.6% from April to September, with electricity use for synthetic ammonia falling by 15.6% and that for urea falling by 23.3%. Sharing energy savings yields significant results. Faced with various energy-consuming equipment, the company held a \"Zhuge Liang\" type meeting where everyone contributed their ideas and pooled their wisdom to identify the weak points in terms of energy savings. Extensive investigations were carried out, and through \"contract energy management\", investment and profit-sharing agreements were established with specialized firms to upgrade the circulating water system. To date, 4 circulation water pumps have been upgraded with signal monitoring, software deployment, and high-efficiency pumps, resulting in significant energy savings. In 2020, electricity consumption decreased by around 1 million kWh per month compared to 2019, representing an average reduction of 24%. From April to September, savings amounting to 2.11 million yuan were achieved; it is expected that savings of 3 million yuan will be realized by the end of December. Starting from 2021, these energy-saving savings will be counted as 100% of the company’s actual financial gains. Energy savings through technology, enhancing efficiency by tapping potential. The company is continuously developing new models for the remanufacturing, reuse, and remanagement of used equipment and components. For example, the lean liquid turbine pump was old equipment transferred from Nanjing; it suffered from issues such as seal leakage and unstable operating speed, so its use was stopped in advance, and electric pumps were used instead. To save electricity consumption, the company brought together technical experts to conduct a thorough maintenance of the lean liquid turbine pump. After it was put into use, it was monitored as a device requiring special care, and it is now operating normally. As of September, it has generated a total savings of 680,000 yuan. Manage energy conservation with precise efforts. The company mobilized all its employees to seek energy-saving goals in every aspect and throughout the entire process, striving to tap into additional potential. The efficiency-improving projects planned for the next stage include: first, optimizing the energy-saving measures of the air preheating unit; since heat loss currently occurs, it is proposed to install a dedicated heat pipe system in this section of the furnace to achieve a better preheating effect. Second are the energy-saving measures for the power system: frequency converters are used to enable energy savings in power equipment and reduce energy losses. Thirdly, it is planned to upgrade the steam output from the boilers, carrying out technical modifications through third-party agencies or energy management companies in order to improve the overall energy utilization efficiency.
