Some of the major methanol producers in Yunnan and Guizhou have set new prices at 2,050–2,100 yuan per ton for cash delivery at the factory; most companies’ new prices are still pending official confirmation. The market price in Nanning, Guangxi is currently estimated to be 120 yuan/ton lower than the delivery price at ports in South China, ranging from 2280 to 2300 yuan/ton in cash terms. Currently, inland enterprises are under inventory pressure; some companies in Yunnan have already reduced their inventory levels, while others plan to do so starting in March. Some facilities in Guizhou have maintenance plans scheduled for later. In the methanol market in northern Jiangsu, the ex-plant price remains stable at 2,200 yuan per ton in some cases; most suppliers have not yet set prices. There is limited logistics activity, and market transactions are minimal.
