Some of the major methanol producers in Yunnan and Guizhou have set new prices at 2,000–2,100 yuan per ton in cash or on credit at the factory gate; actual prices are determined through individual negotiations. The market price in Nanning, Guangxi is currently around 2310–2330 yuan per ton in cash terms, with a slight increase of 30 yuan per ton compared to the prices at ports in South China. Currently, inland enterprises are under inventory pressure; some companies in Yunnan have stopped production and reduced their operations, while others plan to do so starting in March. In Guizhou, some production facilities are scheduled for maintenance, resulting in weak market activity. Most factory prices in the methanol market in southern Shandong have not yet been announced; there are hardly any prices available for goods arriving in Linyi from local sources, and no prices exist yet for goods transported by logistics. Formaldehyde prices have not recovered yet, and market activity is sluggish. The export price of methanol from factories in central Shandong remains stable at 2,210–2,220 yuan per ton. Transportation conditions have improved slightly compared to the previous two days, and it is now possible to use highways for transport. In the methanol market of northern Jiangsu, the ex-plant price remains stable at 2,200 yuan per ton in some cases, while most suppliers have not yet provided prices. Fundamental changes are limited, with many players adopting a wait-and-see attitude. The methanol market in Fujian is sluggish; due to a shortage of available supply, occasional offers are at 2,520 yuan per ton ex-plant, with few inquiries.
