The quotes offered by key manufacturers have declined compared to the period before the holiday; the ex-factory prices range between 1920 and 1940. Transportation is restricted, and many traders have not returned to the market. Activity among traditional end-users is weak, resulting in limited trading volume and a sluggish market atmosphere. Trading of methanol in the Shanxi region is sluggish. The current mainstream transaction price in Linfen is 1,630–1,660 yuan per ton, ex-works in cash ； Prices for Changzhi, Jincheng, Lüliang, and Yuncheng are not available yet ； The prevailing transaction price in Datong is 1,800 yuan per ton, ex-works in cash. Transportation remains restricted at present, with few vehicles available, putting significant sales pressure on various companies. In the Dongying area of Shandong, prices for methanol in the market have generally dropped to around 2,030–2,050 yuan per ton ex-warehouse; transaction activity is weak, with many parties choosing to wait and see. Currently, production levels on the downstream side remain low. In southern Shandong, the ex-plant price of methanol dropped by 30 yuan per ton, reaching around 1,970 yuan per ton. There are no current quotes available for goods delivered in Linyi, nor for those shipped via logistics. The downstream sector has not yet recovered, and market activity is sluggish. In the methanol market in northern Jiangsu, the ex-plant price remains stable at 2,200 yuan per ton in some cases; there are plans for price adjustments tomorrow, while most suppliers have not yet set their prices. Market activity is limited. Trading in the methanol market in the Two Lakes region is sluggish. Hubei-based companies are offering stable prices of 2,100–2,150 yuan per ton, but due to transportation constraints and the fact that downstream industries have not yet resumed operations, it is difficult to ship goods; as a result, these companies have high inventory levels ； Negotiations in the Hunan market are sluggish; the available supply for circulation is limited, downstream industries have not yet resumed operations, and demand is weak. The reference price is around 2400–2480 yuan per ton. The methanol market in the southwestern Yunnan and Guizhou regions is sluggish in terms of buying and selling. The major methanol producers in Yunnan and Guizhou have not yet submitted their latest pricing; the most recent reference price is 2,000–2,100 yuan per ton, in cash or on credit at the factory gate. Actual prices are determined on a case-by-case basis. Many companies have stopped providing quotes due to transportation issues, and there are plans to suspend production and reduce costs in the short term. The market price in Nanning, Guangxi is currently estimated to be around 2340–2360 yuan per ton in cash, based on the delivery cost at ports in South China. Currently, suppliers are eager to ship goods to reduce inventory levels, but logistics and transportation are restricted; downstream manufacturers have mostly not resumed operations and there is no clear timeline for resuming production, leading to a pessimistic attitude among industry players. The methanol market in Fujian region is sluggish; demand is weak due to a shortage of available supply, coupled with the fact that downstream industries have not yet resumed operations. No talks with suppliers regarding spot goods have been heard yet.
