Traders are selling at a moderate pace, while downstream buyers make purchases according to their needs. The methanol market in Henan is operating in an orderly manner. The leading companies have not provided any quotes yet; many companies in the surrounding areas have stopped selling. However, the futures market is experiencing a sharp drop, with many buyers adopting a wait-and-see attitude. Suppliers are offering prices of around 1,550 yuan per ton in cash terms. In central Shandong, the market price of methanol dropped by 50 yuan per ton, reaching 1,500–1,660 yuan per ton in cash upon delivery; sales were moderate, with most transactions being based on previous contracts. In the Dongying area of Shandong, the negotiated price for methanol is 1480–1500 yuan per ton, ex-warehouse and in cash; sales at lower prices are not performing well, and it is currently somewhat difficult to purchase at low costs. In southern Shandong, the market price for methanol remains stable at around 1,560 yuan per ton in cash terms. In Linyi, the price for locally sourced methanol is around 1,550–1,570 yuan per ton, without invoices; while the price for methanol delivered via logistics is around 1,520–1,530 yuan per ton. Most downstream companies are waiting to see, resulting in limited market transactions for now. The quotes in the methanol market in northern Jiangsu remain stable at around 1,590–1,600 yuan per ton in cash terms; there are no significant changes in the fundamental factors, most companies are adopting a wait-and-see attitude, and market activity is limited. The methanol market in the Two Lakes region is stabilizing. Quotations from Hubei enterprises remain stable; the actual ex-plant price is around 1600–1640 yuan per ton in cash terms. Prices for supplies coming from nearby areas are around 1640–1660 yuan per ton in cash terms. In the Hunan market, negotiation prices are around 1700–1720 yuan per ton, with buyers adopting a wait-and-see attitude. Negotiations in the methanol market in Fujian are sluggish; in some of the main storage areas, prices have dropped by 30–50 yuan per ton, reaching around 1730–1750 yuan per ton, with limited transactions taking place.
