The “360,000 tons/year high-efficiency wide-condition nitric acid four-in-one unit” developed by Xi’an Shaanxi Gear Power Co., Ltd. was awarded the first prize in science and technology by the China Nitrogen Fertilizer Industry Association. For a long time, China’s integrated technology for nitric acid production using four-in-one machines in the nitric acid industry has relied on imports. To break free from this situation of being dependent on others, in recent years Shangdu has dedicated itself to research and development, making every effort to promote the localization of the four-in-one nitric acid production units and continuously improving its technical capabilities. Currently, a range of large-scale nitric acid production units with capacities of 100,000 tons per year, 150,000 tons per year, 180,000 tons per year, 270,000 tons per year, 360,000 tons per year, and 450,000–600,000 tons per year have been developed. Among them, the 360,000 tons per year nitric acid production unit not only increased the scale of dilute nitric acid production but also broke the foreign technological monopoly, providing technical support and a development platform for the creation of even larger-scale nitric acid four-in-one units ； The independently developed \"dual-pressure nitric acid four-in-one unit\" has seen sales of over 100 units in both domestic and international markets. There are nearly 30 turnkey project contracts in the nitric acid sector, and this product provides customers at home and abroad with comprehensive system solutions and services covering the entire process from ammonia synthesis to nitric acid production. At the same time, the \"technology for utilizing waste heat and pressure in nitric acid production\", developed independently by Shaanxi Gear, was included in the **Catalogue of Key Energy-Saving and Low-Carbon Technologies for Promotion**. This technology has enabled the development of larger-scale, domestically produced devices for recovering waste heat and pressure in nitric acid production processes, and it is now widely used in energy recovery applications within such processes. It is understood that in June this year, the 360,000 tons per year nitric acid production facility of Chongqing Huafeng Chemical Co., Ltd., which was under the general contracting of Shaanxi Gas Turbine, was successfully put into operation. This facility is one of the largest nitric acid production plants in China at present. The entire plant operates efficiently and stably, with all performance metrics being satisfactory. The quality, reliability, and customized service provided by this plant have earned high recognition and praise from Huafeng.
