The atmosphere for spot negotiations is average, with end-users purchasing as needed. This week, the methanol market in Qinghai region remained relatively stable, with ex-works spot prices ranging from 1,160 to 1,250 yuan per ton. The higher end of this range is open to negotiation. The 600,000-ton methanol production facility operated by Zhonghao experienced a temporary shutdown; maintenance work is expected to last around 15 days.
