The market price of methanol in Qinghai region is currently unavailable. Due to gas supply restrictions during winter, all the major gas-based production facilities in this region are shut down for maintenance, with production expected to resume in March 2021. The prevailing transaction price in Linfen, Shanxi has increased by 10–20 yuan per ton, reaching 1900–1920 yuan per ton for cash delivery ； The offline price in the Changzhi area is 1,960 yuan per ton, with cash payment upon delivery ； The prevailing transaction price in the Jincheng area has stabilized at 1,880 yuan per ton, ex-warehouse and in cash. Negotiations in Henan’s methanol market have gained momentum, but actual transactions remain weak. Henan-based companies offer stable prices; the actual ex-factory price ranges from 1,950 to 1,980 yuan per ton ； Quotations in the Luoyang market are on the rise; negotiation prices are around 1,980 yuan per ton. The mainstream reference price for methanol in the Anhui region remains stable at 2,140–2,160 yuan per ton upon delivery against acceptance; there are lower prices available in the market, and trading activity is moderate. The methanol market in the Two Lakes region is operating in a regulated manner. The quotes from the key enterprises in Hubei remain stable, while those from other enterprises have been reduced; the actual ex-factory price is around 2100–2110 yuan per ton ； For negotiations in the Hunan market, a reference price of 2250–2280 yuan per ton is applicable. The methanol market in Fujian region is on the rise; spot prices in the main storage areas have increased by 20 yuan per ton, reaching around 2320–2330 yuan per ton including taxes. The trading atmosphere in these areas is moderate, with limited transactions taking place.
