The expert review meeting on the environmental impact of our company’s project to upgrade its production facilities, with an annual output of 400,000 tons of ammonia and 600,000 tons of urea, was successfully held. At 9 a.m. on March 8, 2019, the Xuzhou Environmental Protection Technology Supervision and Evaluation Center organized this expert review meeting in Xuzhou. The Evaluation Center of Xuzhou Environmental Protection Bureau, Xinyi Environmental Protection Bureau, Founder Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., Professor Chen Jianlin from Nanjing University, Nanjing Normal University, relevant leaders from the Xuzhou Environmental Science Society, and five experts including Liang Keshun from Jiangsu Safety Science Research Co., Ltd. were invited to attend the meeting. At the meeting, Xu Kuan, the deputy chief engineer of the environmental impact assessment firm, provided a detailed explanation of the environmental impact assessment for this project. The expert group offered valuable suggestions and opinions to our company as well as to the environmental impact assessment firm regarding issues such as the project’s capacity balance, the balance of raw coal usage, environmental impact analysis, health protection distances, and the implementation of the principle of \"simultaneous construction\" for environmental protection facilities. In the end, the experts unanimously approved this assessment. Cao Guangan, the company’s deputy general manager and chief engineer, Wang Jinguang, another deputy general manager, Zhang Jun, the deputy chief engineer, and Liu Zhaofei, the head of the Environmental Protection Department, attended this evaluation meeting.
