The ammonia coolers in my previous company used coil-type water coolers; there was no need for a shell-and-tube design, as the cooling water simply overflowed from the tray distributor to carry out the cooling process. For shell-and-tube water coolers, it is recommended to supply and discharge water in segments; during routine maintenance, stop the water flow in segments to dry out and remove scale, and finally rinse the tube side with water
