According to Yunnan Dawa Ammonia Production, the company’s ammonia vaporization unit achieved 100 days of continuous, safe and stable operation on March 22, 2026, at 12:56, while its ammonia synthesis unit did so at 21:50 on the same day; thus securing the first and second \"100-Day Success\" awards for 2026 respectively. This operation resumed after the maintenance on December 12 last year. Yunnan Dawa Ammonia Production uses Shell’s powder coal gasification technology, sulfur-resistant shift reaction, Linde’s low-temperature methanol washing process, Linde’s liquid nitrogen washing process, as well as Topsoe’s low-pressure ammonia synthesis technology, with an annual production capacity of 500,000 tons of ammonia. Put into operation in 2007. To integrate surrounding resources and increase ammonia synthesis output, Yunnan Dawa Ammonia Production has adopted hydrogen and vent gas, which are by-products of Qujing Coking Gas Production Co., Ltd. At present, Dawa’s ammonia production capacity amounts to 570,000 tons.
