Recently, Jiangsu Huachang Chemical Co., Ltd. obtained the technical license and equipment supply contract for Stamicarbon’s ultra-low energy consumption urea production technology, a global pioneer in urea technology. Its capacity is 1,860 MTPD, utilizing Stamicarbon’s ultra-low energy consumption design and efficient batch reactor concept. 　　It is understood that the advantage of Stamicarbon’s ultra-low energy consumption design lies in the fact that high-pressure steam is used three times instead of twice, which makes this process more energy-efficient than traditional carbon dioxide stripping. This heat recovery solution can reduce steam consumption by 35% and cooling water usage by 16%. 　　Hu Bo, chairman of Huachang Chemical, said, “Sustainable development is at the core of our company.
