According to information from the Intellectual Property Office on August 6, 2025, China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation and Sinopec (Dalian) Research Institute of Petroleum and Petrochemicals Co., Ltd. have filed a patent application titled “An Online Regeneration Method for Propylene Carbonate Catalysts.” The publication number is CN120421048A, and the application was submitted in February 2024. The patent abstract indicates that the present invention discloses an online regeneration method for propylene carbonate catalysts, which includes the following steps: (1) Introducing regeneration liquid A into a fixed-bed reactor containing the deactivated propylene carbonate catalyst for the first regeneration process; after the regeneration is complete, the excess regeneration liquid A is removed ； (2) The regenerated liquid B is then fed into a fixed-bed reactor containing the deactivated propylene carbonate catalyst for a second regeneration process; after the regeneration is complete, the excess regenerated liquid B is discharged ； (3) Regenerated liquid C is fed into a fixed-bed reactor containing the deactivated propylene carbonate catalyst for a third regeneration process; after the regeneration is complete, the excess regenerated liquid C is discharged. The regenerated catalyst obtained by the method of the present invention exhibits good performance. The regeneration solution can be reused, and the regeneration process is simple and convenient to operate. It can effectively minimize catalyst loss during regeneration, thereby significantly conserving resources and energy.
