Our company has an excess supply of steam, and we now need several refrigeration units. We are considering using steam turbines to drive the compressors. I was wondering if anyone has experience with this approach, or which company has mature technology in this area. Thank you!
Check the power rating, and select a compressor manufacturer as well as a corresponding steam turbine manufacturer. You put forward your requirements, and the equipment manufacturer will handle the selection of the equipment and its provision
It is normal for steam turbines to drive compressors; this is how large-scale units are operated.
You should find a compressor manufacturer to prepare a plan for you; it seems like you need a larger turbine. Some of the better manufacturers in China include Shaanxi Gas Turbine and Shenyang Gas Turbine, among others.
