Preliminary statistics from China’s customs show that in terms of exports: from January to July 2025, China exported a total of 22.831 million tons of various macronutrient fertilizers, representing a year-on-year increase of 45.7%； The export value was 6.151 billion US dollars, representing a year-on-year increase of 49.3%. In July, China exported 5.704 million tons of various fertilizers, a year-on-year increase of 85.7% ； The export value for that month was 2.083 billion US dollars, representing a year-on-year increase of 134.6%. On the import side: From January to July 2025, China imported a total of 7.615 million tons of various fertilizers, representing a year-on-year decline of 5.0% ； The cumulative import value was 2.429 billion US dollars, representing a year-on-year decline of 10.6%. In July, China imported 677,000 tons of various fertilizers, with an import value of 248 million US dollars ； The average CIF price for imports is 366.32 USD per ton.
