Hulunbuir Jinxin Chemical Co., Ltd. is located in Bayankuren Town, Chenbarhu Banner, Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Jinxin Chemical uses BGL gasification, low-temperature shift, low-temperature methanol washing for desulfurization and decarbonization, liquid nitrogen washing, ammonia synthesis, and carbon dioxide stripping for urea production to manufacture 500,000 tons of synthetic ammonia and 800,000 tons of urea. Put into operation in 2012. In June 2016, an additional Shell coal pulverization and quenching gasification furnace was added to the three BGL gasification furnaces. The current production capacity is 640,000 tons of synthetic ammonia per year, 1.12 million tons of urea, 10,000 tons of formaldehyde, and 38,500 tons of LNG per year. The 10,000-ton per year formaldehyde plant includes units for methanol evaporation, methanol oxidation, and formaldehyde absorption, with a capacity of 10,000 tons of formaldehyde per year. Formaldehyde is used in urea production facilities to increase the strength of the urea pellets, thereby reducing losses during packaging and transportation of the urea product. Methane-rich gas utilization unit: Methane-rich gas is converted into hydrogen through methane steam reforming and CO conversion, and then fed into a low-temperature methanol washing unit as a feed gas for ammonia synthesis. In LNG plants, the methane-rich gas from the liquid nitrogen washing outlet is compressed and liquefied at low temperatures, thereby enabling the separation and production of LNG. The high-salinity wastewater evaporation crystallization unit, consisting of 1 set with a wastewater treatment capacity of 22 m3/h, employs a process that combines ozone catalytic oxidation, electrocatalytic oxidation, precipitation, ultrafiltration, NF, RO, and evaporation crystallization. This setup enables zero discharge of wastewater while also allowing for the resource recovery of salts present in it.
