The unit produces inert gases, which are stored in 3 high-pressure tanks. Before filling the cylinders, the gases are forced into them using the pressure within the tanks themselves; only afterward is compression by a compressor used to fill the cylinders. What is the reason for doing this? Can’t the compressor be used right from the start? I seek answers from the teachers
I’ve never seen it used this way; in our facility, membrane compressors are used to increase gas pressure from low to high, with the gas then stored in cylinders.:)
