On March 26, Xiangyun Co., Ltd. signed an EPC contract for the New Xiangyun Phosphorus-based New Materials Project (Phase II) with China Wuhuan. Yu Xin, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Five Rings, Fei Anqing, Deputy General Manager, Hu Huawen, Party Secretary and Chairman of Xiangyun Shares, and Liao Qicheng, Deputy Party Secretary, Vice Chairman and General Manager, together with representatives from the management teams of both sides, witnessed this important moment. Yu Xin said that China Five Rings and Xiangyun Shares have a partnership that dates back over 20 years, and through the first-phase project, a strong mutual trust has been established between the two parties. The Phase II project for phosphorus-based new materials is an important measure to strengthen and supplement industrial chains, comply with environmental protection and \"dual carbon\" policies, and promote the high-quality development of enterprises. China Five Rings will leverage its strengths, draw on the experience gained from the first phase, strictly manage all aspects of the process, and make every effort to turn the second-phase project into a new benchmark for cooperation, while looking forward to further collaboration between the two parties. Hu Huawen welcomed Yu Xin and his party, expressing gratitude for the long-term support from China Five Rings. He noted that the mutual achievements achieved through over 20 years of cooperation between the two sides, with the first phase of the project demonstrating China Wuhuan’s capabilities, strengthened the confidence to deepen this cooperation. The second-phase project is an important milestone in the strategic cooperation between the two parties, as well as a key initiative for Xiangyun to foster new forms of productive capacity and strengthen its industrial chains by extending and complementing them. Both parties will adhere to the principle of integrity, aim for first-class standards, strengthen coordination, and maintain strict control over safety and quality, so as to ensure the efficient progress of the project and its successful commissioning in one go, thereby creating a model project in the industry. Subsequently, in the presence of all the attendees, Yu Ying, the project manager of Hubei Xinxiangyun New Materials Co., Ltd., and Jiang Feng, the procurement director and project manager of China Wuhuan Engineering Co., Ltd., signed the EPC contract for the Xinxiangyun phosphorus-based new materials project (Phase II) on behalf of their respective parties. The total investment for the second phase of Hubei Xinxiangyun New Materials Co., Ltd.’s phosphorus-based new materials project is 3.3 billion yuan. It includes key units such as an ore processing facility with a capacity of 1.8 million tons, a wet-process phosphoric acid plant with a capacity of 400,000 tons of semi-hydrated and dihydrated phosphoric acid, a potassium dihydrogen phosphate production facility with a capacity of 50,000 tons, an ammonium monophosphate plant suitable for use in batteries with a capacity of 150,000 tons, a facility for the harmless treatment of phosphogypsum with a capacity of 2 million tons, and a sulfur-based sulfuric acid production facility with a capacity of 800,000 tons. Completion of this project is scheduled for February 2027. Upon completion of the project, it is expected to generate an annual output value of nearly 10 billion yuan. This will further improve the circular system for the entire phosphorus resource industry chain, providing strong impetus for Xiangyun to accelerate its transformation toward higher sophistication, intelligence, and sustainability. This agreement marks a new stage of cooperation between Xiangyun Shares and China Five Rings, one that builds on the achievements of their initial partnership to reach a higher level and deeper dimension of collaboration. Taking this signing as a new starting point, both parties will continue to leverage their synergistic advantages in terms of resources, technology, and management. Together, they will work to accelerate the advancement of the phosphorus chemical industry toward higher levels of sophistication, intelligence, and sustainability, thereby making greater contributions to the development of strategic emerging industries in Hubei as well as to the high-quality growth of the new energy materials sector.
