On online viscosity detection

The measurement of viscosity is obtained through the frictional pressure drop between two points in a horizontal pipe; so what is the basis for this?
This post was last edited by qugd on 2019-8-7 at 12:55. The viscous force between fluid molecules manifests as resistance when the fluid is in motion; this resistance is measured as a pressure difference, as there is a loss of the force that drives the fluid forward (pressure).
