When loading, calcium carbide drums should be handled gently; they must not slide down from slides or roll on the ground, to prevent sparks generated by impact and friction from causing explosions or fires. 4. When transporting calcium carbide drums, moisture-proof measures should be taken. If issues such as a loose lid or bulging are detected, the lid should be opened to release air before sealing it properly again. It is strictly prohibited to load and unload calcium carbide in rainy weather. 5. After loading, the vehicle must be sealed to prevent calcium carbide from absorbing moisture. II. Safety Technical Operating Procedures for the Transportation of Industrial Naphthalene 1. Personnel loading the material must wear half-face filtering gas masks, chemical safety goggles, work clothes resistant to toxic substance penetration, and gloves designed to protect against chemicals. 2. When loading, handle the goods gently to prevent damage to the packaging and containers. Keep away from sources of fire and heat; smoking is strictly prohibited in the work area to avoid fires. 3. Industrial naphthalene should be kept away from oxidizing agents; it is strictly prohibited to store it together with oxidizing agents in the same container. 4. During transportation, the vehicle used shall be equipped with fire-fighting equipment and spill emergency response devices of appropriate types and quantities. It is necessary to ensure that the containers do not leak, collapse, fall, or get damaged during transport; they should also be protected from exposure to sunlight and rain, as well as high temperatures. When stopping en route, they must be kept away from sources of fire and heat. 5. The vehicle should be thoroughly cleaned after transportation is completed. III. Safety Technical Operating Procedures for Acetylene Transportation 1. Before loading acetylene into the vehicle, check its condition, as well as the flame arrestor on the exhaust pipe and the static electricity grounding system, to ensure that all these elements are in good working order. 2. When loading and unloading, handle the equipment gently to prevent the gas cylinder from exploding. 3. After loading, the acetylene cylinder must be secured to prevent it from toppling over during transportation. IV. Safety Technical Operating Procedures for Transporting Oxygen in Cylinders 1. Before loading, check the condition of the vehicle, as well as the flame arrestor on the exhaust pipe and the static electricity grounding system, to ensure that they are in good condition. 2. Loading personnel must wear work uniforms and anti-static shoes. 3. When loading and unloading, handle the cylinders with care to prevent them from exploding. 4. After loading, the gas cylinder must be secured to prevent it from toppling over during transportation.
