1. Since the acid value of the crude oil is relatively high, at 30 units, a simple alkali neutralization system was designed to address this issue; several issues need to be discussed. 1. How should the salts produced by acid-base neutralization be handled? (Desired to use movable ton barrels for external storage) 2. Is a specialized pump required for the alkali solution pump, or can a regular centrifugal pump be used? 3. The used oil feedstock is quite dark; it is likely that a regular level gauge (glass type) will not allow for clear reading in such conditions. What type of level gauge is the best choice? 4. It is planned to use ordinary circulation backflow in place of stirring, and an air pipe is connected to the bottom of the tank for air stirring; is there any danger? 5. There is a heat transfer oil heating coil built inside the tank; could local overheating occur during use, thereby creating safety risks?
