Do alarms for toxic and harmful gases as well as flammable gases have to be installed in the fire control room!? Our GDS system and DCS are manufactured by the same company; monitoring is carried out from a central control room. The fire department said that our \"control room layout violates regulations\"”

The “GB/T 50493-2019 Design Code for Detection and Alarm of Flammable and Toxic Gases in Petrochemical Industries” stipulates that 3.0.8: The detection and alarm systems for flammable and toxic gases shall be installed separately, independent of other systems. 3.0.3: The detection and alarm signals for combustible gases and toxic gases shall be sent to manned on-site control rooms, central control rooms, etc., for display and alarm; the secondary alarm signals for combustible gases, as well as the fault signals from the alarm control units of the combustible gas and toxic gas detection systems, shall be sent to the fire control room.

What isn’t in compliance? Do you have a separate fire control room? If there is no fire control room, both the DCS and GDS are placed in the central control room, with separate systems installed there; a dedicated console for the GDS is set up in the central control room. Is there anything wrong with that?
