In one of our plants, the pressure of the steam condensate is between 0.25 and 0.3 MPa, while the temperature is around 110°C. The temperature of this condensate is too high to be used directly in the utility systems. At present, no suitable application for this condensate temperature has been found within the plant. Do any of you have any good suggestions? The location for heat exchange with the raw materials cannot be utilized.
It can be used for stepped heat exchange; if there’s no other place for it, it can be used in bathrooms or cafeterias.
It can generate electricity using a screw compressor, and it can also be used for cooling or heating purposes via lithium bromide for heating and ventilation
If the quantity is large. Condensate flash evaporation, steam compression for temperature rise, and returning low-temperature water to the utility system can be considered.
Does your company have a boiler? If available, this condensate can be directly fed into the boiler deaerator to recover heat and pure water most effectively; however, it is necessary to regularly analyze whether the water quality meets the requirements for boiler water.

Are the initial costs for generating electricity using screw compressors high? Our company has a heating system, but it’s a steam-based one; when condensate gets mixed in, the noise level becomes very high.
The condensate volume in one hour is around 3 tons; the main issue is a pressure drop of about 0.3 MPa, and the effect of flashing is likely to be minimal as well.
Steam is supplied by an external supplier; if there is a boiler, it can be reused on site. Thank you.
Condensate water is softened water, and it should be reused as much as possible if it is not contaminated. Additionally, in bathrooms and cafeterias, it is tap water heated by its heat that is used, rather than condensed water.
