What are the fire separation requirements for liquid carbon dioxide? Are there any standards? Thank you!
Liquefied carbon dioxide, not a liquid of categories A, B, or C, not a liquefied hydrocarbon, not a flammable or oxidizing gas; it presents no fire hazard, and codes 50016 and 50160 do not apply to it；

In China, there are only standards regarding fire separation distances for the petrochemical industry; one could take a look at the API standards as well
Another pitfall: it depends on what type of fire hazard exists in the area surrounding the liquid carbon dioxide storage tanks. If it is Category A, the fire separation distance can be reduced by 25% compared to the requirements for Category A facilities and Category C liquid storage areas.
