Regarding the fire hazard classification of formaldehyde, GB50160 defines it as Class C-A. However, shouldn’t we still determine this based on the flash point of the specific formaldehyde solution? Also, for the tank area containing formalin solution, is it necessary to mark it as an explosion hazard area? The formaldehyde gas emitted from formalin solutions should be classified as Category A; according to GB/T50493, flammable and toxic alarm detectors need to be installed
Those that volatilize into gases are classified as Category A; however, their toxicity is considered to be a greater concern than their flammability, so toxic gas detection systems are given priority
