I’ve always been confused about this, and I’d like to ask: What kind of welder’s certificate is required to weld high-temperature, high-pressure pipes in power plants? What is the difference from an ordinary welder’s certificate? How to identify it?

I suggest you take a look at the TSGZ6002-2010 regulations for welder examinations for special equipment; they specify the different materials and wall thicknesses that welders are allowed to work on
There are two departments that issue welder certificates: the Emergency Management Bureau and the Market Regulation Bureau. The ordinary one is a certificate from the Emergency Management Bureau; it’s not sufficient to weld pressure vessels.
