Effects of VOC exhaust gases on EPDM rubber

I need to use EPDM gaskets for sealing VOC-related equipment at room temperature. Fluorocarbon-based gaskets cannot be used due to constraints related to the equipment, so I would like to ask: what effect do VOC emissions have on EPDM? Do they accelerate its aging, or do they cause it to dissolve in a manner similar to corrosion? If anyone knows the answer, please give some guidance. Thank you!
Is the gasket related to the equipment? Not to the flange. Is it also related to the medium? Some rubbers swell when exposed to certain solvents and deform under pressure, but I don’t think exhaust gases have much of an impact.

The concentration of VOC emissions is still low, not like that of solvents. The principle is molecular diffusion, with the concentration difference serving as the driving force.
