In current sulfur-based acid production methods, liquid sulfur is usually unloaded into underground liquid sulfur tanks, and then submersible pumps are used to transfer it into the liquid sulfur storage tanks. If the liquid sulfur purchased for sulfuric acid production is of high quality, can it be unloaded into the liquid sulfur storage tank using nitrogen pressure? A 3000 m3 liquid sulfur storage tank is approximately 10 meters in height, and a pressure of 2.5 kilograms should be sufficient to achieve unloading by pressure. Are there any experts familiar with this application? Is it permissible according to the relevant standards? Tank trucks are generally designed with a slight positive pressure; if they can withstand such pressure, it’s fine :)
