In the original design of the ammonia and methanol plant, the overflow water from the circulating water system was sent to the rainwater pipeline, and after entering the rainwater tank, it was discharged outside the plant area. Currently, environmental regulations prohibit discharging water outside the rainwater drainage system. So, where does the excess water from the circulating water system go in terms of design? Does it go into the wastewater treatment facility? Under normal circumstances, this water meets the discharge standards; however, when there are leaks in the equipment, levels of COD and ammonia nitrogen may increase slightly. How is it designed currently, and what’s the status of competing manufacturers?
What does it mean that environmental protection requirements prohibit discharge through rainwater pipes? Environmental controls should apply to water with emissions that do not meet standards; there is no specific mention of controlling recycled water. If it is possible to exceed the limit, connect your piping from the rainwater tank to the emergency tank
Spillwater or other water must not be discharged if it does not meet the standards. This is a strict requirement. Even the rainwater drainage systems must meet the standards. However, various types of water before stacking need to be treated differently, mainly due to considerations regarding treatment costs. As for the destination of the overflow water, that is an internal matter of the company. An accident pond should be built; it should be located here. For reference.
Do not mislead. Industrial wastewater and clean rainwater belong to two different drainage systems; no matter how clean the industrial water is, it cannot be discharged into rainwater pipes, as this is illegal.
