Simply put, a centrifuge is a device that uses the high-speed rotation of a machine to separate solids from liquids. The centrifuges currently used in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries are basically of this type; a centrifuge consists of approximately 4 parts. The first part is the machine enclosure, which is mostly made of stainless steel (with other materials such as iron, plastic, titanium alloys, etc. as well), and includes the main body tank and the lid. The second component is the drum inside, also known as the rotor; it is through this drum that our materials are separated. After the material enters the drum through the feed pipe. The high-speed rotation of the drum throws the raw material mother liquor out of the filter cloth, thereby achieving separation. The third category is the transmission assembly. It contains the bearing housing and the motor section. The machine drives the bearing housing through a motor belt, enabling it to operate! The transmission part is the heart of the entire machine. In most cases, problems arise due to issues with the bearings inside the bearing housing; prolonged use leads to wear and tear, or inadequate maintenance, which in turn causes the machine to vibrate and become unbalanced.
