Dear everyone: The basic requirements for safety control in hydrogenation processes listed in the \"Catalogue of Hazardous Chemical Processes Subject to Stringent Supervision\" stipulate that a proportional control system must be installed for the reaction materials. In the case of *** fluidized-bed catalytic hydrogenation for the production of aniline, the pressure in the hydrogenation system is controlled by adjusting the amount of fresh hydrogen added, thereby maintaining stable production. If proportional control is applied to both the fresh hydrogen and ***, it becomes difficult to keep the system pressure stable. I would appreciate it if you could share how this requirement is implemented in actual design and production processes. Thank you!
In actual production, it is the flow rate of hydrogen that is controlled; pressure is used to regulate the amount of emissions. The flow rate of hydrogen is proportional to the amount of *** emitted, but this is not controlled through proportional regulation

The several aniline production units I’ve come across all use the adjustment of the fresh hydrogen flow rate to control system pressure. Practice has shown that this method is safe, reliable, and effective; of course, system pressure can also be controlled by regulating emissions, but the aforementioned approach is more economical, environmentally friendly, results in less waste, and allows for a higher utilization rate of hydrogen.
