Issues regarding fire separation distances for storage tanks as per detailed regulations

According to 6.2.7 of the Detailed Specifications, the spacing between two rows of vertical storage tanks within a factory’s tank farm shall comply with the requirements specified in Table 6.2.6 of these standards. The spacing between Class A B, Class B, and Class C A storage tanks shall not be less than 5 m, while the spacing between two rows of vertical or horizontal storage tanks with a diameter of less than 5 m shall not be less than 3 m. Does this mean that for Class A, B, and C A storage tanks with a diameter of 0.4D less than 5 meters, a spacing of 5 meters should be applied; while for vertical or horizontal tanks holding materials of other categories with a diameter less than 5 meters, if 0.4D is less than 3 meters, then a spacing of 3 meters should be used?
What this table indicates is that for fixed-roof storage tanks of categories A and B with a capacity of less than or equal to 1,000 cubic meters, the fire separation distance is 0.75D; for category CA, it is 0.4D, and for category CB, it is 2 meters! ! !
For Class A-b structures with a diameter of 10 meters, the fire separation distance is 7.5 meters; for Class C-A structures with the same diameter, the required distance is only 4 meters! !
