There is currently a hydrogen vent pipe with a very low flow rate. It is planned to combine it with the air vent pipe to form a single vent pipe; the concentration of the mixture of these two gases will be well below the explosive limit, so it is possible to vent them together. It always seems that combining the venting systems is not possible, but no specific standards or regulations clearly state this. It can be inferred that nitrogen purging is required for the venting pipes, which suggests that combining them is not feasible. What do you all think? Can the company provide a written guarantee that hydrogen levels will never reach or exceed the dangerous lower limit? 2. Can the unit still ensure that the oxygen content in the air vent main never exceeds the oxygen content in the atmosphere? 3. If the above two points can be met, please have the person in charge of safety provide written approval, and then work can begin.
Is this a management issue, or should it be tried to be resolved from a technical perspective first? If that doesn’t work, the Haiyou method can be used. :lol

Safety measures must be stringent; it’s not possible to rely solely on regulations and guidelines, as these often represent overall macro-level requirements and may not address specific practical problems. In such cases, it is necessary to make use of human judgment and to consider the safety of employees and production equipment. Such considerations should be given sufficient importance – there is no need for technical discussions on this topic. Technical discussions should focus on how to prevent gas concentrations from exceeding safe levels, or on what reliable measures can be taken when such concentrations do occur to avoid dangerous situations.
