The device uses nitrogen for protection; how is the pressure rating of the pipeline at the outlet of the device’s safety valve determined? Should the same grade of gas be used for the materials in the equipment as that used in the nitrogen pipelines? Are there any relevant regulations?
If the maximum pressure for nitrogen sealing is 1.0 MPa, then the design pressure of the container should be 1.1 MPa. The pressure rating of the safety valve should therefore be 1.6 MPa. The outlet pressure of the safety valve generally needs to be lower than or equal to the pressure in the inlet pipeline, so 1.6 MPa is chosen.
