On April 7, a tender announcement was issued for the project to upgrade Guangdong Petrochemical Co., Ltd.’s 200,000 tons per year polypropylene plant to produce terpolymer products. Project Overview: The Sinopec Guangdong Petrochemical integration project has been completed and put into operation. It is located in the Dananhai Petrochemical Industrial Zone in Jieyang City, Guangdong Province, in the southeastern part of Guangdong, at the mouth of the Longjiang River. The project scale is an integrated refining and chemical complex with a capacity of 20 million tons per year for oil refining, 2.6 million tons per year for aromatics, and 1.2 million tons per year for ethylene. The project construction includes oil refining units, chemical production units, storage and transportation facilities, auxiliary facilities, utility systems, as well as associated off-site works. In accordance with the first batch of capitalization project investment plan for 2026 issued by the group company, public tenders for the general contracting of the new projects included in this plan are being conducted. Construction location: Dananhai Petrochemical Industrial Park, Jieyang City, Guangdong Province. Main construction contents: This project involves works related to the remediation of investment-related hazards and optimization and renovation. The scope of the project includes the detailed design, procurement, and general construction management for the renovation project of the 200,000-ton/year polypropylene plant in Chemical Department 2, aimed at producing terpolymer products. Planned handover date: January 30, 2027
