Since the first commercial version of PDMS was released in 1977, PDMS has become the preferred design software system for large and complex factory design projects. The latest upgraded version of the software is named AVEVA E3D. Chengdu Bopuda Company has developed some 3D entity software plug-ins for this software, which are very easy to use. PDMS (PlantDesignManagementsystem) is the factory three-dimensional layout design management system. This software has the following main functional characteristics: 1. Full-scale three-dimensional solid modeling, and modeling based on what you see is what you get ; 2. Achieve multi-professional real-time collaborative design and real on-site environment through the network. Multiple professional groups can collaboratively design to establish a detailed 3D digital factory model. Each designer can check what other designers are doing at any time during the design process. ; 3. During the interactive design process, real-time three-dimensional collision checking, PDMS can automatically perform collision checking between components and various professional designs, ensuring the accuracy of the design results as a whole. ; 4. It has an independent database structure, and all component and equipment information can be stored in the parameterized component library and equipment library, without relying on third-party databases. ; 5. The open development environment uses the Programmable Macro Language to connect to a universal database. The included AutoDraft program connects the PDMS and AutoCAD interfaces, making it easy to convert drawings from the two to each other. The graphics output by PDMS comply with traditional industrial standards.
