The company needs to develop process packages; what conditions are required for research and development? Things such as personnel, equipment, hardware, software – what is all needed?
First, establish the process team and set up the computers and standard software; professional computing software can be rented for now, while other equipment and hardware can wait.
Staff: Find an experienced and knowledgeable expert to serve as the head of the design team; two or three skilled technicians will be needed to handle the various process stages, while the rest can be new recruits who need to be trained gradually. Equipment: Depending on the process packages that need to be developed, appropriate software should be prepared. Drawing software is relatively easy to find, but simulation software such as Aspen and Fluent is more important; it’s sufficient to have one or two people who know how to use such software. As for the subsequent pilot tests, they need to wait until the process package has been developed to a certain extent; there is no urgency at the moment.
