The importance of a stepping stone

I have been working in this field for 20 years since graduating from college; my graduation project back then was on a 95% ethanol distillation system. Now, my workplace is looking for someone to handle solvent recovery tasks, and they are seeking newcomers, ignoring us experienced employees. I’m really puzzled by this I guess they disapprove of us because we’re not from any 985 or 211 universities, and we don’t even have a bachelor’s degree. It seems the children must study hard*; at the very least, they need to obtain a bachelor’s degree from a reputable university or a graduate degree, otherwise no one will take them seriously!
The importance of a stepping stone lies in its ability to help people enter the field or industry they wish to pursue. A stepping stone could be a degree from a renowned school, professional skills, work experience, professional certifications, and so on. By having these stepping stones, people can more easily obtain job opportunities, promotion chances, and better salaries. However, we should also realize that a stepping stone is not a panacea; it is necessary to continuously improve one’s own qualities and abilities in order to remain competitive. At the same time, we should not judge a person’s value based solely on the quantity or quality of their stepping stones, but rather on their actual work performance and achievements. .
