Is Toc affected by temperature?

For the same solution, one at room temperature and another heated to a certain temperature, the TOC is then measured using instruments; will there be a significant difference in the TOC levels? Is this due to the influence of temperature or as a result of some reaction taking place?
The lab has also been discussing this issue recently, so it’s a good opportunity to exchange ideas. Total organic carbon in water is likely to be affected by temperature; if the environmental temperature of the water sample is high, microbial activity in the water will be impacted, and microbial activity in turn causes changes in the TOC level. Therefore, I believe that high temperatures may result in lower readings from TOC analyzers.
