Can projects for two different products share one torch?
It is generally not recommended to share one torch for projects involving two different products, as these products may have varying safety and environmental requirements; using the same torch could lead to cross-contamination or safety risks. A better approach is to install a dedicated torch system for each project to ensure safety and compliance with standards. However, in certain cases, if thorough evaluation and design are carried out, two projects with high compatibility and controllable risks can also consider sharing a single flare system. .

It may depend on whether the exhaust gases generated during the production of these two different products can be discharged into the flare line simultaneously without having any significant physical or chemical effects on the gases within that line; in other words, there should be no unsafe conditions nor any environmental violations. Asking such a simple question only shows that the question is unclear.
If the components of the flue gas emitted from different product lines are similar, a single flare system can be shared. The reasonable approach is to share the tower structure (one common torch tower), but not the torch systems (with each exhaust gas going through its own pipeline).
