**The Industrial Internet Innovation Demonstration Base was inaugurated in Zibo on January 15, 2025. Recently, the inauguration ceremony for the Industrial Internet Innovation and Development Project Industry Demonstration Base was held in the Zibo High-Tech Industrial Development Zone. Built on the advantages of Shandong Province’s initiatives for the innovative development of the industrial internet and in the field of industrial safety, this base was developed under the leadership of Inspur Industrial Internet Company and the Weihai Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The base will make full use of the advantages of Inspur Cloudzhou’s **-class dual-platform capabilities, and work together with key enterprises in the province. Following the principle of promoting research and development as well as development through practical application, it will focus on industrial Internet platforms and industrial security areas. The province and relevant ministries will jointly advance the transformation of innovative engineering and technical achievements, and continue to work on the research and commercialization of key products such as industrial security operating systems, distributed industrial cloud platforms, distributed industrial databases, industrial interconnection middleware, and identity resolution data gateways. The base will help ensure that for those software and hardware products that are crucial in the manufacturing sector, alternatives can be used when available; otherwise, precise protection measures will be implemented. It will also strive to create a safe and reliable ecosystem for the industrial Internet industry. Next, Zibo High-Tech Zone will fully integrate innovative resources, continuously optimize the industrial ecosystem, accelerate the adoption and dissemination of relevant technologies, and expand the scale, innovation level, and geographic reach of the industrial Internet industry.
