PMC stands for Project Management Consultant, or Project Management Contractor. PM consultants are brought in by the project owner to help achieve the project objectives set by the owner by managing the project’s schedule (time), costs (investment), and quality; however, they generally do not assume any actual project risks. They are rarely held accountable when project timelines are delayed, budgets are exceeded, or the deliverables fail to meet design requirements. On the PMC side, there are also concerns: ......
