Recently, Xinjiang Shanneng Chemical held a kick-off meeting for the general contract construction of the methanol-to-olefins unit of the 800,000-ton-per-year coal-to-olefins project in Wucaiwan, Zhundong. It marks the official entry of the methanol-to-olefins plant into the substantive construction phase. It is understood that the methanol-to-olefins plant plays a key role in converting methanol into high-value olefin products, and it serves as a crucial hub in coal-to-olefins projects. At the kick-off meeting, the technical team conducted in-depth discussions on aspects such as the design fundamentals of the methanol-to-olefins plant, the configuration of key equipment, and energy consumption metrics. The project design team presents the engineering progress control mechanism and implementation plan. Through thorough communication, all parties further clarified the technical specifications and standards, key project milestones, and coordination procedures, thereby establishing a robust and sustainable project advancement framework.
